Waste Recycling (KA4020)
Main idea of the project "Waste Recycling" (Reaching congenial region through valorisation of municipal and industrial waste waters and sludge) is to develop environmentally-friendly and cost-efficient sludge treatment methods. Our aim is to manufacture clean and safe recycled fertilizer from municipal waste-water sludge.

Objective of the project:
Create commercialization models for waste water-based recycled fertilizer products in Finland and Russia
Main activities of the project are to:

Evaluate technologies for waste waters and sludge treatment pilot-scale tests

Prepare recycled fertilizer products from waste water sludge and dairy waste water

Create business model by using results of feasibility studies of different sludge and wastewater treatment technologies
Expected results of the project are:

Innovative sludge and wastewater treatment technology with commercial potential developed

Receipt for sludge or wastewater -based recycled fertilizer product

Business plan for the valorization of sludge and wastewater treatment technologies created
