Kantele songs by Sergey Stangrit
While the halls of the the future Kalevala exposition in the Museum of Fine Arts of Karelia are being reconstructed, the project team continues to work actively not only on visual content and interactive components, but also on audio accompaniment. It is very important to immerse guests in the atmosphere of Kalevala epic poem and give them an unforgettable experience to share with the whole world!
The project team chooses all the best foro the project implementation. That is why they asked Sergey Yakovlevich Stangrit - the Honored Artist of Karelia, a famous composer and multi-instrumentalist, as well as the most famous music therapist in Russia, the author of his own methodology "Kantele-therapy" - to sing the runes of the Kalevala poem under the sounds of a kantele! The recording process took place in a professional studio with a sound engineer to ensure that the sound is clear and can be used in the exhibition space.
A big project is implemented in such small steps. The exposition is scheduled to open in February 2021.
