During week 12, representatives of the Finnish partners of the REMAC project (Kajaani University of Applied Sciences, the Municipality of Puolanka and HonkaInfra Oy) packed their bags and headed to western Finland, Ostrobothnia, to get acquainted with the plans, operations and implementation of the REMAC biogas plant project.

The negotiations for building the biogas plant in Puolanka are yet to be solved. The companies in the race, Jahotec, Eneferm, Sauter and Doranova, are all professionals in the field of biogas and construction. Due to the pandemic situation, the orientations at the biogas plants were carried out only on reference sites currently under construction in order, to gain insight into different structural implementations.

Soon we will know which one of the aforementioned constructors will build the biogas plant in Puolanka!
