BUSY IN KOSTOMUKSHA

Dear friends! 
Our super-BUSY trip to Kostomuksha is over. 
BUSY - Business for youngsters project team together with the Finnish partners thank all of the participants who came to the educational activities. Together we spent actually a BUSY-Monday and are ready to share the results! 


An educational intensive course for more than 140 students from 5 schools in the city of Kostomuksha was conducted at school № 1 named after Ya.V. Rugoev. School students got acquainted with the main activities of the Karelian Regional Youth Center, learned about the opportunities of participation in BUSY project and received an invitation to the Summer Educational School "StartUp Week", which will take place in Petrozavodsk in June. We also shared with the participants fresh trends in the professions of the future and conducted an interactive training on the development of entrepreneurial thinking "Snowflakes". 


Our partners from the Development Corporation of the Republic of Karelia and the Boiling Point-Petrozavodsk co-working space held a meeting for unemployed citizens at the Employment Agency, where participants had an opportunity to learn about state support measures for entrepreneurial initiatives and got to know about the main mistakes when writing a business plan for the grant. 


An important meeting was held in the Barents Business Center with the representatives of the Kostomuksha Urban District, who spoke about the special status of the city of Kostomuksha as a territory of advanced socio-economic development, which entails a special legal regime for entrepreneurial activity, the minimum amount of capital investments of residents. Our team presented the BUSY - Business for youngsters project, and our Finnish colleagues told about the main activities of BusinessOulu. 


All interested in the topic of social entrepreneurship had an opportunity to take part in a training workshop on the basics of social entrepreneurship from KRINPO PetrSU. 
In the evening of our BUSY-Monday project team meeting took place, where we informally discussed future events of the project.
