Big Music for Small Cities project invites Karelian festivals for online pitching
During its implementation the Big Music for Small Cities project already has organized a few working sessions for festivals online. The festival operators from the Northern Karelia discussed cultural tourism, productization for international markets, festival USPs and target groups.
On February, 16, the project holds a ZOOM event for the festivals from the Republic of Karelia.
The meeting will be held in a format of pitching with "pechakucha" self-presentation of the festivals.
The pitch session is initiated for festivals with such aims as:
- to give the platform for self-presentation at the regional level;
- to know better about each other (working principles, key outputs, problems and the ways of solution);
- to train the skills of effecient presenting an event in a "pechakucha" format;
- to connect new partnership links and open previously not obvious prospects in the sphere of festival development.
Moreover, the festival operators will receive a chance to be the first to get acquainted with the working draft Strategy for Art Festivals Development in the Cross-Border Region. By the end of the project the Strategy will be presented to the public.
Let's wish the festivals fruitful work and the project team - to proceed with the idea of builing a cross-border festival network!
