Joensuu Winter Music festival is in a full swing. What a miracle! The restrictions for the hall concerts have been removed. The concerts are going on in a full house.

And today anyone who has Internet connection is given an opportunity to join the audience at Carelia hall to hear and see the Joensuu City Orchestra's program.

The concert starts with premiere of Pavel Karmanov's Valse-Polonaise, commissioned by the Big Music for Small Cities project. And continues after Jean Françaix's Hommage à l'ami Papageno with Cecilia Damström's Nixus. After intermission we hear Jean Sibelius's Pelléas et Mélisande.

Don't forget to follow the stream at 19.00 (Finnish time).
