Anna Kovaleva and her kantele guide

The Kantele-GO! project is presenting a new publication by Anna Kovaleva "Emoticons for kantele players".

Many kantele beginners say that they love to play at concerts but wouldn't spend much time on practicing kantele technique. Thus, Anna Kovaleva - kantele teacher from Kondopoga School of Art , the leader of the "Pikkurilli" folk ensemble and a constant partner of the Kantele-GO! project,  developed a charming kantele emoticon study guide that helps to go through essential exercises for five string kantele.  The new study guide was pubilshed with support of the Karelia CBC Kantele-GO! project and is disseminated free of charge to all kantele beginners on request (dom.kantele@yandex.ru ).

Project  partners: The Karelian National Song and Dance Ensemble Kantele (Russia), University of Eastern Finland, Runosong Academy (Finland), National School of Arts named after V. Kalaberda of Pryazha District (Russia).

The Kantele-GO! project is financed by the European Union, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Finland within the framework of the Karelia CBC Programme.
