Job Shadow Day in Pohjois-Karjalan Museo Hilma
Job Shadow Day is a day for a person in a vulnerable position in the labor market as a consequence from life situation, illness or disability. The day is particularly suitable for young people who want to know more about the particular job or how work is done in a certain field of industry. This year the Job Shadow Day was in May 16 and also North Karelian Museum’s InterActive History project got a ‘job shadower’ for visiting the workplace for a day. ‘Job shadower’ Ann-Mari followed project coordinator Reetta-Mari’s work. The day included researching materials about Utra, talking about exhibition design, museum pedagogics and work with museum’s collections. We also had chance to test the museum exhibition’s karaoke room. Ann-Mari is an enthusiastic photographer and she took photos of our exhibitions. Thank you Ann-Mari for visiting us and we wish you all the best! (Source: https://www.vates.fi/vates/keko-ja-muut-hankkeet/paattyneet-projektit-ja-hankkeet/projektet-ar/job-shadow-day.html)
