Kantele-GO! concert shoes

Young kantele players in Karelia got 50 pairs of new concert shoes thanks to the Kantele-GO! project supported by the Karelia CBC programme. Shoes for girls and boots for boys were made of high levels materials and according to the tradition. Folk groups in Pryasha district are now ready to perform in their shoes), and putting up new concert costumes will become the next step.

Many thanks to the leaders of folk ensembles Marina Lukina with her kantele group "Lirutis" from Essoila,  Dmitry Mukhorin and his kantele ensemble "Runa" from Pryazha, Julia Tolmacheva and her folk studio "Pilli" from Pryazha, Maria Zaitseva and the folk ensemble "Veretentse / Little Spindle" from Essoila.

Hope to see more concerts from young musicians this coming autumn and now they may say "that's another  pair of shoes!"...
