Culture Open –project’s Accessibility Mapping is now completed!
Culture Open –project mapped six cultural facilities in Joensuu this March in order to determine their accessibility. The mapping was planned and conducted by project coordinator Henna Karhapää with the help of an expert group assigned by the Joensuu Disability Council.
An accessibility mapping template designed by the project coordinator was utilized to gather information on each mapped facility, and the results of the mapping were assembled into a report.
The report also details a series of suggestions on how to improve the accessibility of the mapped facilities.
