On may 21, members of the New horizons of culture project working group took part in the remote scientific and practical conference "Creativity unites: successful practices of creative inclusion and socio-cultural rehabilitation".

The program of the first day includes a speech by Ekaterina Sibarnova, the head of the Yaroslavl inclusive equestrian drama theater "White horse", about an innovative form of socio - cultural rehabilitation of people with mental disabilities; the experience of the Charity Fund" Inclusive Dance " in rehabilitation through training in inclusive dance, staging plastic performances, conducting festivals. The working group of the project "New horizons of culture" was very interested in the development program "I and the Museum", implemented on the basis of the Rostov regional Museum of fine arts. The author of the program is S. S. Brikunova, candidate of pedagogical Sciences, associate Professor of the Department of primary education Of the Academy of psychology and pedagogy of the southern Federal University; head of the creative workshop "the Art of living". The program is intended for children and adolescents with disabilities, including those with various categories of RACES, attention deficit and hyperactivity, hearing disorders, musculoskeletal system, and mild intellectual disability.

These topics were of particular interest to the team of the New horizons of culture project to explore the possibility of using best practices in professional work with children and youth with special educational needs.
