Arctic Cooperation Conference - What can Cooperation Programmes do for the Arctic?

The Arctic Cooperation Programmes Northern Periphery and Arctic, Interreg Nord, Interreg Botnia-Atlantica, Kolarctic CBC and Karelia CBC organise the 1st Arctic Cooperation Conference on 18th September 2019 in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The aim of the conference is to demonstrate how the programmes participating in this Cooperation are benefitting the regions in the Arctic. The event will showcase projects from each of the 5 programmes, as well as the joint activities of the Arctic Cooperation. An award ceremony for the Arctic Award project competition will take place during a festive evening reception on 17th September. The event targets decision makers on international, EU, national and regional level as well as organisations dealing with the Arctic from a policy perspective.

This cross-programme collaboration is encouraged and mandated by the European Commission and aims at a closer cooperation in the European Arctic.

Registration to the event is open. Due to limited capacity, the event is by invitation only with the possibility to join a waiting list. For information please contact michela.gaifami@interreg-npa.eu
