Village meeting in Mekrijärvi

Partners from MSL and UEF met with residents and village association of Mekrijärvi for a discussion on potential and suitable waste management improvements. Issues of discussion was the possibility of an sorting station (Eko-piste) in the village as well as the possibilities to develop a common waste collection system (jätekimppa) for villagers. Additionally residents were informed about the upcoming WasteLess survey that will be conducted in Mekrijärvi by the end of April.
