Partners are organisations implementing the project together. All partners participate both in the implementation of the activities and in the financing of the project.
At least two partners (lead partner and partner), one from Finland and one from Russia, are needed. Usually there are 3-5 partners in a project but the amount varies according to the objective and strategy of the project. No organisation needs to be competent enough to implement the project alone but all the partners combined there should sufficient operational and financial resources for efficient project implementation.
It is highly important that all the partners are genuinely interested in the project and in its results. Motivation is a key factor in a successfull project.
Eligibility rules for partners are described in the Programme Manual.
