Presentation of "Minun kanteleeni" at the Kantele House
On 28 December 2021 the Kantele-GO! project arranged a special event devoted to the publication of a new collection of compostions for chromatic kantele "Minun kanteleeni" by Anastasia Salo. The presentation took place at the Kantele House in Petrozavodsk. The winners of the competition in arrangements for kantele were awarded at the event. Kantele players and musicians from Kalevala, Essoila, Medvezhegorsk, Kondopoga and Petrozavodsk received music instruments made by Aleksandr Frolov, a kantele maker from the Republic of Karelia. Letters of appreciation were delivered by the Kantele-GO! manager Olga Vlasova to Aleksander Frolov, Irina Shishkanova, Anastasia Salo, Alevlina Voitovich for contribution to development of kantele music. The event was followed by a lovely kantele performance by the Ensemble "Kantele" artists, including a new piece "Voice of Spring" composed by Anastasia Salo and performed by Elena Ankhimova.
