Opening conference of the international project “Gastronomic tourism: a tasty journey” will be held in Petrozavodsk

“Gastronomic tourism: a tasty journey”

Representatives of executive authorities, enterprises of the tourist industry, gastronomic and restaurant business, expert community and the media will meet on February 27 in the Karelian Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The event is held in the framework of the international project "Kalitka - the development of cross-border gastronomic tourism" with the financial support of the European Union, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Finland.

The conference program includes an exhibition of Karelian producers' products, plenary reports of specialists from Moscow, Petrozavodsk and Joensuu, round tables on the topics: “Organizing the participation of the Republic of Karelia in the federal project“ Gastronomic map of Russia ”,“ New formats of interaction between educational organizations and business for the development of gastronomic tourism ”, "Local producers and restaurant business: the industry of taste."

The conference opening will take place on February 27 at 10.30 in the conference hall of the Karelian Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Pushkinskaya street, 11).
