A particularly warm and sincere atmosphere reigned yesterday in Joensuu in the Carelia hall. The JWMF Joensuu City Orchestra concert supported by the Big Music for Small Cities project was a real success. And this was also transmitted even through the screens of computers and other devices, which helped many of us to be lucky enough to watch this concert. The audience was delighted, and those who watched it in the hall gave a standing ovation. Very touching, the attitude of the Finnish public towards high musical art!

The premiere of Pavel Karmanov's Valse-Polonaise plunged the audience into a thoughtful and fabulous mood.
In addition - the performance of the work Nixus by Cecilia Damström sounded live. Recall that at the Joensuu Winter Music festival last year, Nixus was presented in video format. And also - Jean Françaix's Hommage à l'ami Papageno with Jean Sibelius's Pelléas et Mélisande. It was atmospheric!

Those who could not view the broadcast have a unique opportunity to watch the concert on the YouTube channel of the Joensuu City Orchestra. The recording will be available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i4gObqwMX1Y until Monday, February 28.

Hurry up to watch and listen. You will definitely be incredibly inspired!
