Contracting of the micro projects was officially launched today when Programme Coordinator Jarkko Kärkimaa met Tiina Vlasoff and Vesa Korpelainen from North Karelia Public Health Association. The association is acting as a Lead Partner in NatureHEALTH micro project that is based on the idea of using nature in the promotion of health and wellbeing.
During the next weeks contracting negotiations are organised with other selected micro projects as well. However, the contracts can't be signed before the Financing Agreement has been ratified. The ratification is expected to be concluded by the end of the year. If that is the case the contracts can be signed on February 1st 2018 and the projects launched on March 1st.
The selection of the first regular projects, concentrating on cultural cooperation, will be confirmed next week at Petrozavosk. The next batch of projects, business and environment, will be selected in December.
